A stronger start,
one family at a time.

Her Baby Box Africa describes a programme combining newborn essentials, postnatal information, and parent support. Our proposed local pilot would pair that model with primary health centre follow-up in Port Harcourt.

The club could coordinate local sponsorship and volunteers; Her Baby Box could advise on kit supply and resources; participating health professionals would guide care information and referrals. These roles are suggestions for discussion.

Better equipment. Stronger care.

Our club was named among 20 partner Rotary clubs in a maternal and neonatal care intervention launched on 1 July 2026 across Elelenwo, Rumueme, Mbundukwu, and Churchill Primary Health Centres in Rivers State.

The joint donation included delivery beds, baby cots, phototherapy units, suction machines, and other equipment. This was a shared District 9141 initiative; the facilities and equipment reflect the collective project.
